Our client. headquartered in Charlotte, NC,  is a growing international company that supplies the automotive industry as well as other industries with supplies shipped from Italy in multiple warehouses in United States.  They are looking to add a logistics/customer service specialist to their team. 

 

Responsibilities

— Create purchase orders, sales orders, delivery notes to be logged into SAP.

— Develop relationships with warehouse staff, custom brokers and with factory located in Italy.

— Manage inventory

— Manage customer forecasts and closed orders

— Set up transport through customers websites

— Support budget reporting activities

— Expedite orders from the factory

— Communicate with third party warehouses

— Correspond with customers, custom brokers, and factory to get the releases and shipping information

— Invoicing and receiving of payments

— Accounts payable activities for a small amount of vendors.

Qualifications/Requirements

 

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, business administration or Finance

Proficient with SAP and MS Office

Possess the ability to work with deadlines and manages customers’ priorities

Experience with data analysis

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to work with individuals with diverse backgrounds

Experience with order fulfillment and material management

Experience with global organization preferred

Enjoyment in working with small group and must be authorized to work in US.
