Our client is a full-service general site contractor headquartered in Charleston, SC. This position reports to the Chief Estimator and will be responsible for project cost estimating of various site development projects. The Estimator will work with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure that project costs are accurate throughout the construction process. Will also be responsible for:

• Prepare estimates of materials, labor, and equipment
• Knowledge of construction estimating software
• Cost monitoring and reporting
• Prepare cost and expenditure statements throughout projects
• Cost forecasting
• Change orders
• Consistently analyze construction plans and present estimations in an accurate and timely manner

Qualifications

• Bachelors
• Proven leadership skills in internal communication; maintaining a positive atmosphere; and being supportive to the staff.
• High standard of integrity
• Civil Engineering degree preferred
• Construction estimating software
• 3+ years of experience estimating site infrastructure projects
