Treasury Analyst – Duluth GA

We are engaged with a dynamic organization in the Duluth GA area seeking a solid Treasury Analyst Accountant to join the corporate accounting and finance team. This company is a privately held multistate organization with a stable, rapid-growth history and we’re looking to add top talent to the team.  

Reporting to the VP of Treasury, the Treasury Analyst will maintain responsibility for several treasury functions as well maintaining controls over cash/capital needs and forecasts, managing banking relationships, financing programs, cash management, commissions and royalty obligations as well as local tax requirements. He or she will support risk mitigation and oversee the intercompany flow of funds and owner distributions.

 

CASH, FINANCING AND CAPITAL NEEDS

  • Assist in managing banking relationships and banking platform controls, ensuring sufficient funds available to meet operating needs
  • Monitor cash balances, reconciling cash account balances across multiple entities
  • Prepare daily cash disbursements and prepare and present cash related reports and forecasts to VP and CFO
  • Prepare company notes receivables or payables documents
  • Oversee preparing recurring disbursements for leases, legal, royalty/IP payments, commissions, and consulting arrangements
  • Maintain activity and payments within the companies’ financing programs, monitoring of short-term credit facilities and assisting with the execution of the owner distribution program

TAX LIABILITY

  • Prepare required quarterly federal and state estimated payments
  • Assist with property tax filings across multiple jurisdictions as and execute 1099 preparation across business entities
  • Perform tax to cost of sale analysis and facilitate requests from external tax partners

PERIOD CLOSE

  • Reconcile cash, cash equivalents, current assets and liabilities
  • Perform payroll and expense accruals and analytics reporting

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance – required 
  • CPA license (active), additional certifications such as: CTP or CFA – highly preferred 
  • 3+ years of experience in mid to large sized organization
  • Software and Tools: strong MS Office Suites experience with exposure to NetSuite a plus
  • Sense of urgency and organization focused on details with high expectations of performance and the ability to meet tight deadlines while producing accurate work
  • Able to build strong business relationships across departments with a team-oriented approach
