We are an amazing national nonprofit that works with amazing people in the community. We are seeking a Human Resource Clerk to support company-wide human resources tasks. He/She is also responsible for the oversight hiring process and compliance, onboarding/offboarding. We are seeking someone with TriNet – Kronos and Paylocity experience. The HR Clerk will also handle employee relations issues, and provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies. They will also be part of a strong team-oriented department that is collaborative, cooperative, and dynamic.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
Oversee administration of all company benefits including; managing, implementing, and executing benefit plans and programs.
Handle benefit inquires and/or concerns to ensure quick and courteous resolutions.
Meet and assist employees with the leave process including, review eligibility and rights under each plan, review and submit claim forms to the insurance carrier, and track employees' leave timelines.
Handle accommodation requests, interactive processes, and job abandonment.
Serve as company's plan administrator for 401(K) plan including; coordinating onsite online education sessions, conduct quarterly and annual audits, bi-weekly employee contribution funding, handle employee status changes, etc.
Coordinate quarterly company values orientation.
Conduct exit interviews to obtain feedback and evaluate problem areas in the company. Provide management with a summary report.
Provide guidance and policy interpretation to employees and managers. Handle employee relations issues. Assist HR management with job eliminations and severances.
Other ad hoc projects and duties as needed.
