The world’s leading Music company and market leader in recorded music, distribution, and music publishing is seeking a Finance Coordinator in the Corporate Services group responsible for purchasing, processing invoices for payment, administrative and other duties. The successful candidate will have exposure to accounting operations and a keen eye for detail, exhibiting an ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities, be self-driven, and communicate tactfully and assertively.
Job Functions:
• Duties as Assistant to the CFO
? Provide general administrative support to the CFO and VPs who are direct reports to the CFO inclusive of scheduling meetings, creating meeting agendas, answering the phone, and other similar activities
? Schedule, plan and coordinate all travel arrangements for the CFO and other department heads as needed including the preparation and tracking of expense reports
? Maintain and approve vacation and other requested time off for direct reports ? Help plan and coordinate events as needed for the departments of the CFO and as a whole ? Create an environment of trust and reliability with staff members and other outside individuals so they feel their requests and needs are being addressed in an efficient manner ? Maintain discretion and confidentiality
• Full ownership to proactively track and ensure timely payment by submitting invoices on the following activities: website domain name registrations, IT maintenance contracts, communication bills, facility vendors (e.g., coffee, plants, cable, etc.), and other similar assigned vendors
• Assist the CFO and Finance in locally administrating the corporate credit card program
• Proactively manage the preparation and administration of the capital expenditure budgeting and purchasing process
• Work closely with the IT and Facility teams to facilitate and ensure new capital expenditure purchases are tagged and recorded in the fixed asset inventory log
• Support Finance in the weekly market share reporting process by downloading selected reports from Music Connect
• Monitor both the local purchasing standards to ensure compliance with any guidelines
• Support CCMG Management as needed in the planning and execution of internal and external office and facility moves
Education: • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or a similar field
