We have a great opportunity for those with skills, experience, and/or education in Special Education or the Social Sciences. Also, an opportunity for those individuals interested in caring for youth (ages 10-17) to develop or expand their skills in supporting our residential, community or school based program.
DUTIES:
- Assist instructional personnel with the development and presentation f learning materials and instructional exercise
- Instructs students individually or in small groups to reinforce and follow-up learning activity
- Prepare data collection
- Implements continuous and discontinuous measurement procedures
- Observe and record behavior patterns and develops appropriate techniques to reinforce acceptable behavior
- Supervise and work with youth
- Teach, coach, counsel, serve as role models
- Respond to crises/emergencies using positive interventions, effective professional relationships and therapeutic/behavioral skills
- Administer medications, track and report behaviors via computer
- Oversee and assist with maintaining agency/licensing living standards
- Assist with physical interventions when difficult behaviors require
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Mus be able to pass background check
