Fire Alarm Technician ($27-$35/hour)

Responsibilities:

• Performs installation, programming, repair, testing, and inspection of fire detection and signaling systems
• Completes all services following manufacturer instructions, related codes/standards, and Company policies and procedures.
• Schedules inspections with customers as required.
• Provides documentation of inspections for Company records, customer records, authorities with jurisdiction, and any other entity required.
• Follows up to ensure that suggested repairs to systems are performed.
• Trains Technician Trainees as assigned.
• Commits to work until obligations are met, which may result in overtime.
• Completes continuing education necessary to maintain current certifications and/or licenses as required for position.

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in fire protection systems, plus
• Minimum Level II NICET certification in desired field required (or the ability to obtain Level II within the first 18 months of employment)
• Experience with Notifier, EST and Silent Knight is a Plus
