Job Description:

• Installation, configuration, troubleshooting, as well as post-installation of VoIP phone systems.
• Manage the programming and repair of VoIP and Unified Communications Systems peripheral voice equipment, Voice Mail, Call Accounting, and Paging Systems.
• Design, implement, maintain, monitor, and administer deployment of Security cameras and Access control systems
• Install structured cabling, low voltage cables (Cat 5e, CAT6,CAT6A, Coax, and Fiber Optic)
• Follow schematics and blueprints to properly install and connect low voltage equipment
• Computer network setup, LAN/WAN
• Work in the field with the most efficient methods to solve service issues while providing great customer service.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years applied experience within the telecom and/or security industry with premise wiring
• Must have good knowledge of structured cabling requirements, design, and Installation
• Experience overseeing and/or leading crews
• Minimum 2 years experience with security cameras.
• Experience with both residential and commercial environments
• Must have good oral and written communication skills
• Must have the ability to read and interpret floor plans
• Must have the knowledge to install support structures (ladder racks, j-hooks, etc.)
• Ability to work well as a team member
• Must possess the aptitude to learn new technologies
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work from heights such as man lifts, scissor lifts, and rooftops utilizing proper fall protection.
• Must be loyal and looking for long-term employment.
• Must have valid license and with a good driving record
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
