Loader/Unloader I

Drawbridge - Golden, CO

Responsible for loading product on correct refractory prior to firing and unloading fired product from kiln cars in accordance with work instructions; transports to next process. Works within a team environment to meet departmental goals. Maintains work area cleanliness.

Swing shift 2:30pm – 10:30pm Mon-Fri


• Load and unload product onto refractory for kiln firing in accordance with production work order specifications

• Inspect refractory for damage or wear, reports to appropriate person

• Visually inspects parts to determine if product meets quality/ customer specifications

• Stacks and transports product via hand-truck, pallet jacks, forklift, crane, or hoist

• Cleans work area, machines, tools and equipment

• Wears required personal protective equipment at all times in areas where mandatory

Job Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not necessary

Experience: No experience necessary


Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to understand and act on verbal and written instructions

• Basic math (addition, subtraction) and computer skills

• Ability to identify bad product from good

• Must exhibit attention to detail as well as excellent listening skills

• Must be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds

$15.50-$17.50 based on experience

Steel-toed boots required

Lifting required, hot temperatures working near commercial kilns
