Engineer Technical Lead

Patching Associates Acoustical Engineering is looking to add an Engineering Technical Lead to the team in Calgary, Alberta. The Engineering Technical Lead will be responsible for the analysis, modelling, and reporting for acoustical engineering projects in both the municipal and energy & resources market segments. The right candidate will make an impact on the organization by generating revenue through company projects while sharing technical responsibility for overall engineering quality with the Project Engineer.

On a day-to-day basis the right candidate will be responsible for:

  • Data analysis, modeling, and reporting
  • QA/QC process and documentation
  • Project planning implementation and support through scope and budgeting
  • Developing and optimizing automation tools, templates, and procedures
  • Supporting client service responses and risk assessment plans
  • Internal learning and continuous professional development
  • Occasional field work to gain experience for primary role
  • Attending internal company meetings as required

The right candidate will demonstrate on their resume:

  • Certificate or degree in acoustical engineering or other technical fields
  • 1+ years of project management experience or related technical field
  • Previous experience in modeling and other technical related fields
