Set and lead firm-wide strategic direction, long-range planning, and organizational objectives.
Drive profitability, growth, and operational alignment across all business units.
Inspire, mentor, and support employee-owners across all levels of the firm.
Serve as the face of the company to clients, partners, the financial community, and public stakeholders.
Lead executive team decision-making while maintaining alignment with the firm's mission and values.
Direct major initiatives including mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic ventures.
Ensure the health of internal communications, cultural alignment, and employee engagement.
What You Bring
Proven track record as a CEO, COO, or senior executive in professional services, preferably within architecture, engineering, or construction.
P&L responsibility for firms with $10M+ in revenue.
Deep knowledge of the AEC landscape and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Strong communication and executive presence with the ability to lead with empathy and clarity.
A natural coach and mentor who cultivates high performance and employee development in an ownership model.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA or similar) strongly preferred.
10+ years of executive leadership experience in AEC or related industries.
Licensure or certification in a design discipline (architecture, interiors, engineering) preferred.
NCARB certification is a plus.
Willingness and ability to travel monthly between offices and to national events, clients, and board meetings.
Special Notes
This is an onsite leadership role based in Boise (preferred), Denver, or Sacramento. While remote flexibility is limited due to the visibility and leadership required, the firm is committed to work-life balance and empowering thoughtful leadership practices.
If you are a purpose-driven executive ready to lead a legacy firm into its next era of growth and innovation, we want to hear from you.
