The Role

As an Associate Principal, you will be steering our talented MEP Engineering group, acting as the responsible charge for a diverse portfolio that spans various industries and project scales. This senior-level leadership position is designed for those who not only have a robust foundation in HVAC engineering principles but are also passionate about steering projects from conception through post-occupancy.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead and Inspire: Guide both internal and external clients from feasibility through the final design. Your expertise will shape the future of our projects and the environment they influence.
  • Technical Mastery: Serve as the firm’s beacon for all things mechanical engineering, constantly updating and sharing your knowledge on the latest in system designs, building codes, and sustainable practices.
  • Integrated Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a seamless and holistic project delivery that aligns technical solutions with aesthetic and functional objectives. We are a full suited Architecture, Engineering + Construction firm.
  • Innovative Problem-Solving: Evaluate multiple design options, balancing innovation with practicality to meet and exceed project goals encompassing design integrity, sustainability, budget, and timelines.

What You Will Bring

  • Education: BS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program. An MS degree is a plus.
  • Experience: At least 15 years in HVAC engineering, with significant leadership in project analysis, design, and management.
  • Expertise: Deep understanding of IBC, IMC, IECC, ASME, and ASHRAE standards.
  • Credentials: Must possess a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license. LEED or similar certification is highly regarded.
