Empire Staffing Network is seeking a direct -hire candidate for Tank welding company in Gurnee, IL.

Shift 6:30 am - 5:30 pm. M-F Lots of OT available

Pay $25-30/hr depending on experience

The Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms.

Welder Responsibilities:

• Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products using GTAW, GMAW, FCAW,
• and SAW Processes
• Install and repair various equipment and components
• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications

Welder Qualifications:

• Ability to work on turntable
• Ability to work on round objects using degree measurements
• Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields
• Familiarity with welding tools and procedures in the tank building industry
• Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
• Ability to handle physical workload
