We are seeking a qualified candidate to fill the direct-hire role of Shipping & Receiving candidate for our client located in Ringwood, IL.

Shipping & Receiving Overview:

The Material Handler performs various duties to transport material throughout the manufacturing facility and process inventory transactions to maintain accurate inventory records.

Shipping & Receiving Duties and Responsibilities

• Unload, receive and unpack material and check receipts against purchase order for proper shipment, shortages, damages or defects;
• Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks using a fork lift;
• Prepare appropriate paperwork for shipments, transfer, receipts, and picks;
• Pull parts for picklists accurately and efficiently;
• Efficiently and accurately perform all activities related to returns;
• Perform all material transaction using “scan to transact”;
• Package material to prevent damage during transit;
• Safely and efficiently transport material throughout the facility using lift trucks;
• Help in other areas as assigned

Shipping & Receiving Qualifications and Work Experience

• High School Diploma or GED;
• Previous experience with Inventory Management systems (M2M) desired;
• Understand safety regulations and protocols;
• Experience driving fork lifts is strongly desired;
• Must be legally able to work in the United States;
• Must have a positive attitude and foster a continuous improvement environment.
