Empire Staffing Network is seeking a full time Assembler for our client based out of Niles, IL

The General Production Worker performs general shop duties to support the build of Heat Transfer Products.

This role is a direct-hire opportunity with our client based out of Niles, IL!

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

• Grind, sand, and clean steel fabrications;

• Prepare fabrications for paint using sanding equipment and solvents;

• Effectively build skids, crates to specifications provided;

• Package material to prevent damage during transit;

• Clean, insulate, and label product per specifications and work instructions;

• Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications and Work Experience

 

• High School Diploma or GED;

• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds;

• Accurately interpret measuring equipment;

• Understand safety regulations and protocols;

• Experience with power tools preferred;

• Must be authorized to work in the United States;

• Must have a positive attitude and foster a continuous improvement environment.
