Overview:

The Account Manager is expected to service a base of maintenance customers provided by the Sales Manager to assure the delivery and quality of contracted services, seek out opportunities to provide additional services, and solicit opportunities for new business relationships. The Account executive must interact effectively with the Sales Manager, Maintenance Production Manager, Maintenance, Production Superintendents, other Account Managers, Design/Build Sales staff, Maintenance Estimator, Sales & Marketing.

Responsibilities: 

  • Establish and manage customer relationships.
  • Perform quality control functions, confront problems, and find solutions.
  • Promote landscape management services.
  • Initiate and coordinate site improvements and enhancements.
  • Meet and exceed goals set by Sales Manager.
  • Expand service programs for customer base and solicit referrals and new leads for growth in new customer acquisition.
  • Present yourself and represent in a professional manner at all times.
  • Contribute to the overall success of while striving for personal growth and improvement.
  • Meet and establish working relationships with each customer according to their needs.
  • Field customer calls and facilitate solutions.
  • Prepare estimating takeoff sheets and present Landscape Maintenance Agreements.
  • Meet revenue goals for renewal contracts and new business contracts.
  • Prepare work order requests and present proposals for site enhancements.
  • Meet revenue goals for site improvements and seasonal color sales.
  • Perform quality control inspections on sites as necessary to maintain established levels of performance and operational standards.
  • Solicit referrals and testimonials from customers for review with Sales Manager.
  • Pursue new business opportunities as directed by Sales Manager.
  • Work with Design/Build Sales people on transitions of new construction to maintenance.
  • Visit maintenance sites as needed to ensure proper quality at all times.
  • Communicate with Maintenance Production Manager and Superintendents on a regular basis to maintain proper levels of service at all times.
  • Attend designated meetings and company functions as directed.
  • Complete and forward company paperwork as per instructions.
  • Contribute and participate in the Strategic Planning Process.
