We are currently seeking a Quality Inspector to fill our direct-hire position for our client in Ringwood, IL. 

Overview:

This fast-paced, high volume, multi-tasking position reports directly to the Quality Manager and job duties include inspection, document control, cpk/spc data, process control, nonconformance control and may vary as needed. We are willing to train the Quality Control aspects of this position so there is room for growth/advancement.

Quality Inspector Responsibilities

• Performing raw material, production parts and finished part inspection
• Assist with production operations as necessary (cycle machines,
• Assist the Quality Manager with daily tasks
• Internal Auditing
• Light machine operation

Quality Inspector Qualifications

• Basic understanding of manufacturing facility and production environment
• Comfortable working independently, and as part of a team environment
• Familiarity with inspection equipment and procedures and units of measure - including a caliper and micrometer
• Interest in quality assurance or quality control
• Good oral and written communication skills

Quality Inspector Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent required (additional levels of education a plus)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, internet, and Adobe Acrobat is a plus
• Any previous Quality Assurance experience working with metal stamping/forming is a plus
• Knowledge of using caliper, micrometer, ability to read prints and other quality inspection equipment a plus.
