Lead Project Manager / Sr. Civil Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic and driven senior-level civil engineer with project management experience to join our civil team. They will provide technical oversight and project management expertise as we develop and execute a wide variety of projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance expectations (within company policy)
  • Create and execute project work plans and revise when appropriate to meet changing needs
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects and scopes
  • Initiate and maintain relationships with clients to facilitate successful project completion
  • Effectively facilitate team and client meetings
  • Provide oversight of project staff
  • Complete project documents – initiate and complete any required documentation to support your projects
  • Manage project budgets
  • Seek new clients/projects - in working with potential or existing clients, listen for, and seek out new projects that may exist or are being formulated
  • Participate in the development of proposals for new projects as well as interviews and presentations
  • Effectively communicate information in both written and verbal forms
  • Demonstrate independence and initiative and will be able to move tasks forward with minimal oversight
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationships with clients
  • Provide QA/QC and peer review of engineering calculations and designs
  • Supervise work of CAD technicians and engineers

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • PE license is required
  • Experience and proficiency in land development design and permitting
  • Minimum of eight years of progressively responsible civil engineering experience
