Lead Project Manager / Sr. Civil Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic and driven senior-level civil engineer with project management experience to join our civil team. They will provide technical oversight and project management expertise as we develop and execute a wide variety of projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance expectations (within company policy)
- Create and execute project work plans and revise when appropriate to meet changing needs
- Manage day-to-day operational aspects of projects and scopes
- Initiate and maintain relationships with clients to facilitate successful project completion
- Effectively facilitate team and client meetings
- Provide oversight of project staff
- Complete project documents – initiate and complete any required documentation to support your projects
- Manage project budgets
- Seek new clients/projects - in working with potential or existing clients, listen for, and seek out new projects that may exist or are being formulated
- Participate in the development of proposals for new projects as well as interviews and presentations
- Effectively communicate information in both written and verbal forms
- Demonstrate independence and initiative and will be able to move tasks forward with minimal oversight
- Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationships with clients
- Provide QA/QC and peer review of engineering calculations and designs
- Supervise work of CAD technicians and engineers
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- PE license is required
- Experience and proficiency in land development design and permitting
- Minimum of eight years of progressively responsible civil engineering experience
