Senior Project Manager (NTD)

  • Manages the complete lifecycle of technical projects and effectively applies suitable project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Collaborates with Engineering leadership and stakeholders within the division to identify project requirements, assess business solutions, and formulate strategies.
  • Assists Engineering management in allocating personnel to project teams to ensure smooth and efficient project operations.
  • Develops strategies for managing risks and planning contingencies for assigned projects and programs.
  • Supervises and assesses requirements, business process models, specifications, configuration changes, and recommendations associated with proposed solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Defines and documents project team requirements, resources, schedule, and risks.
  • Independently addresses and resolves significantly complex issues, managing uncertainties at all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Communicates effectively and efficiently with cross-functional and cross-organizational teams, senior management, and external partners.
  • Formulates roadmaps and plans for technical projects with insights from internal cross-functional and cross-organizational engineering teams and external partners.
  • Identifies and addresses cross-project and cross-team dependencies.
  • Takes ownership of project decisions that influence cross-functional and cross-project objectives.
  • Evaluates key performance indicators across projects and implements enhancements.
  • Assesses customer impacts and potential opportunities beyond current project scopes.
  • Measures project quality, schedule, and cost against project KPIs and defined business goals.
  • Prepares high-quality project reports for internal cross-organization and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates strong collaboration skills with multiple teams to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent is preferred
  • 5-6 years of project management experience or Engineering Management experience
  • Possession of Project Management Professional (PMP) / Agile Certification or equivalent coursework is desirable
  • Proficiency in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and overseeing end-to-end product development
  • Expertise in various project management models and methodologies
  • Extensive experience with industry-standard project management and development tools, as well as engineering practices
  • Strong organizational skills, adept at presentations, and dedicated to providing excellent customer service
  • Skilled in conducting thorough analysis of complex issues and adept at resolving them creatively
  • Knowledgeable in embedded systems development
  • Experience in managing teams
  • Previous involvement in software or hardware development is advantageous

 

We are looking to hire for an upcoming contract, and look forward to learning more about your experience. The contract position has an anticipated base pay range of $67 - $110 per hour.
