ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Electrical Engineering (80%)
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- This position typically requires a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering and a minimum of 4 years of experience in consulting engineering and the study, design, and construction administration of:
- Building electrical power
- Lighting
- Electronic safety and security
- Communications
- Low voltage control systems
- A variety of facility types such as K-12 and higher education, government office buildings, laboratories, health care facilities, data/communication centers, sports facilities, aquatic centers, military facilities, and central plants
- Professional engineer registration or the ability to obtain registration within 6-12 months is required.
- LEED certification is preferred.
- Expected to have sufficient technical knowledge and awareness of project details to recognize when technical problems are developing in the various disciplines and to initiate appropriate corrective actions.
- A demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy while preparing documentation and conducting fieldwork.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Effective organizational and written skills.
- Must be self-starter.
- Computer skills include the MS Office suite, AutoCAD, and Revit.
