SUMMARY
Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a passion for innovation and a knack for designing cutting-edge DC control systems? We're seeking a talented Hardware Electrical Design Engineer for a global manufacturing leader. This Engineer will take on the exciting role of creating and redesigning Schematics and Printed Circuit Board designs for state-of-the-art systems and test fixtures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to utilize expertise to develop and/or enhance existing designs for DC control systems and test fixtures, ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
- Compile comprehensive BOMs for your designs, meticulously detailing all necessary components and materials.
- Design filter inductors and main power transformers, leveraging your knowledge in magnetics to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Conduct rigorous testing on new designs to ensure they meet all internal and third-party environmental, regulation, and safety standards, guaranteeing utmost quality and compliance.
- Work closely with manufacturing personnel to analyze and resolve production issues or documentation discrepancies, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to standards.
- Engage in discussions with the engineering team to collaborate on system designs, contributing your expertise to drive innovation and excellence.
- Attend weekly engineering meetings and bi-weekly staff meetings to stay informed, contribute ideas, and foster teamwork across the entire company.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited engineering college
- 7+ years of experience working as an electrical engineer in a similar field
- Experience in Power Electronics, Analog, Digital, and Embedded Microcontroller Application designs, along magnetics design (transformers and chokes) and SCR Control and Driver Circuit design.
- Experience in supporting a manufacturing environment, understanding the intricacies of production processes and the importance of seamless integration between design and manufacturing.
