SUMMARY

This role will be a key member supporting Engineering and Sales Team! This immediate need for an Engineering Senior Project Manager to manage the commercial performance of a given product portfolio through its lifecycle (related products that promote water quality for municipal and industrial water industry). This role is viewed as a developmental role for Engineering Manager track. If you are a builder and get bored from maintaining projects, we want to hear from you. This company is truly dedicated to solving water treatment challenges with innovative technology for the industrial and municipal markets. This is a remote opportunity with travel a few times a month to Philadelphia and/or San Diego.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the engineering and technical aspects of water treatment projects.
  • Develop project plan and manage project scope, timeline, and budget. Submit project plan to technology director and any other stakeholders for approval.
  • Ensure resource availability, and coordinate activities of team members (internal and external) providing support for the project. Manage relationships.
  • Lead project coordination meetings. Prepare and present updates to the management team.
  • Participate in technical and quality reviews. Provide technical guidance and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Lead the preparation of specifications needed for projects.
  • Assist with the development of proposals for new projects.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems and tools.
  • Assist in the training and guidance of new/less experienced project managers and engineers.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have previous experience working in the municipal or industrial water industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering (chemical, industrial, environmental)
  • Prior experience in the water treatment industry is a huge plus.
  • Previous experience as a project manager, or exposure to project management work and responsibilities
  • Must be fluent in speaking, understanding, and writing Spanish.
  • Willing and able in the future to assume a leadership role, managing a small team of engineers.
  • Experience in a production manufacturing environment.
  • PMP certification (desired)
