RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and coordinate daily logistics activities for outbound shipments and yard operations
• Monitor and optimize truck check-in and loading processes to minimize wait times at the inbound dock, enhancing operational efficiency
• Oversee and optimize rail logistics, ensuring efficient coordination with rail carriers to streamline inbound shipments
• Utilize logistics IT systems (SAP) for inventory management and control of inbound shipments
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inbound float optimization and scale wait times to drive continuous improvement
• Collaborate with the outbound team to ensure seamless inventory management and optimal on-site OCC inventory levels

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in a supervisory or management role within logistics, warehousing, or a related field, specifically overseeing outbound logistics activities
• Proficiency in ERP systems, with preference for SAP, or experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), particularly for managing inbound inventory and shipments
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in logistics and transportation operations in the manufacturing industry a must.
• Experience with change management is a must!
