RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide engineering support for troubleshooting mechanical issues, transitioning into project leadership once root causes are identified
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including the creation of work orders and scheduling using planning tools
  • Oversee vendor engagement, including obtaining and evaluating quotations
  • Ensure timely execution of projects, with a strong focus on post-RCA (Root Cause Analysis) implementation and priority setting
  • Review and update predictive maintenance plans in collaboration with maintenance teams in the CMMS (SAP)
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external contractors to ensure project alignment with operational goals
  • Maintain a high standard of safety, quality, and efficiency throughout all project phases
  • Continuously improve established maintenance processes including Defect Handling and Breakdown Elimination

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering and active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Mechanical Engineering (must be licensed to practice in the United States)
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a maintenance, reliability and or engineering technician leading projects in an industrial setting
  • Proficient in utilizing CMMS to enhance operational efficiency and streamline maintenance processes
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills to interpret, evaluate and analyze facts and information to support problem solving
  • Ability to overcome ambiguous and complex situations with an open mind considering creative and standard processes.
  • Proficiency in project planning tools, such as MS Project
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Experience and understanding of Lean Production System principle
