Contract role

Length: 30 Months

Location- Hybrid – Remote and Onsite in Schenectady, NY (Up to 50% of the time )

Responsibilities:

• Design and create scripts for databases,
• Design, develop, maintain and enhance Java applications,
• Test applications
• Create and maintain documentation
• Assist with implementation and ITSM incidents.
  

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience:
• Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field. 
  

Desired Skills:

•  7+ years of experience programming server-side Java web applications in a multi-tier environment using JDK 1.5 or higher.
• 5+ years of experience writing queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers in Oracle 10g or higher.
• 4+ years development experience in database design and object creation/modification of databases consisting of 20 or more tables in Oracle 10g or higher.
• 4+ years programming experience with Java Server Faces.
• 3+ years programming experience with Java Persistence API.
• 3+ years experience with JavaScript/JQuery.
