Experienced Recruiting Partners - Remote, Remote

Must be located in Dallas, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Denver, Chicago, Austin or Houston

100% Remote
Occasional Travel up to 10%

We are actively seeking a Director of Business Development who will help clients solve complex problems by introducing and aligning service offerings and capabilities to address business and technology needs. This is not an account management-only job. We are seeking skilled hunters and developers of new business who are able to leverage a high quality brand to create demand, rather than just respond to it.

Required Experience

  • Prospects, uncovers and qualifies business development opportunities.
  • In partnership with Solution Architects, elicits and synthesizes prospects’ business needs, while understanding pain points, constraints, and working environments to successfully propose and close solution contracts.
  • In concert with solution delivery teams, and in particular Delivery Managers, the DBD continually supports and evolves the client relationship, and extends and promotes the value that our company can provide to our clients.
  • Seeks out and builds local third-party referral partnerships for growth and strategic advancement of the service line and market.
  • Continually invests in personal learning to glean knowledge in both the business and technology landscape.
  • Works with the marketing department to enhance the brand in the local market through various channels.
  • Other duties, as assigned

Desired Experience

  • Awareness and understanding of current technology trends like Cloud, AI/ML, IoT, DevOps, Mobile, etc.
  • Brings a large, local network of decision-makers at the VP and C-levels inside mid-to-large corporations.
  • Experience working in a team sales environment, collaborating among a variety of colleagues and stakeholders to prepare, deliver, and close sales proposals.
  • Demonstrated experience meeting and exceeding quotas or benchmarks.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any business major (Finance, Economics, Marketing, Accounting, etc), Computer Science, MIS, or Software Engineering.
