Job Title:Physical Therapist Assistant Location: New Jersey 07470 Job Type: Per Diem Position Overview: Priority Group Services is seeking a dedicated and qualified Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in New Jersey. The Physical Therapist Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our Physical Therapists and contributing to the delivery of exceptional rehabilitation services to our patients. Responsibilities: Patient Support and Assistance: Assisting Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans and therapeutic exercises for patients. Aiding patients in performing prescribed exercises and activities under supervision. Documentation and Reporting: Assisting in maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, progress notes, and reports. Communicating patient progress and responses to treatment to the supervising Physical Therapist. Equipment Set-Up and Support: Assisting in the set-up and maintenance of therapy equipment. Ensuring a safe and clean environment for therapy sessions. Patient Education and Communication: Providing instructions and support to patients and their families regarding home exercises and activities. Collaborating effectively with healthcare professionals and caregivers in the rehabilitation process. Requirements: Possession of a New Jersey Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant is required. Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations including those set by the New Jersey Department of Health, Office of Inspector General, Medicaid/Medicare, Corporate Compliance, PEOSHA, and Priority Group Services Policies and Procedures. Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Proficiency in assisting with physical therapy techniques and exercises. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in a physical therapy environment.
