A well-established general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead municipal, government, and public-sector construction projects in the Fort Myers area. This role offers the opportunity to oversee complex work while mentoring teams and partnering closely with public stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide executive-level leadership on municipal, government, and public works projects
• Oversee multiple projects, project teams, and superintendents
• Manage budgets, schedules, risk, and compliance requirements
• Serve as a primary liaison with local governments, public agencies, and design teams
• Support preconstruction, value engineering, and strategic planning
• Champion jobsite safety, quality, and professional standards
• Mentor and develop PMs, APMs, and field leadership
Ideal Background
• 15+ years in construction management with public / municipal project experience
• Proven success on large, complex projects (multi-phase or campus-style preferred)
• Strong understanding of government processes, documentation, and compliance
• Experience leading large teams and operating with high autonomy
• Well-spoken, professional, and respected leader with a training mindset
• Strong commitment to safety and accountability
