Job Description:
This position is responsible for creating testing solutions for the engine and machine system development teams to utilize for validation. Primarily this job is focused on developing dynamic / physics based models of actual engine & machines. Tools used include Dynasty and Simulink as well as python and C coding.
Typical Day
The team receives requests for plant model creation for use in HIL and SIL systems. Tasks include automation development for both HIL and SIL as well and simulation model integration. Model development takes place in Matlab/Simulink or Dynasty and automation is created with C++ or Python.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor''s degree in EE, ME, Mechatronics, Aeronautical Engineering or similar education background with at least five years'' experience. Will consider Master''s or above coursework/internships/projects toward experience minimum.
Technical Skills
REQUIRED SKILLS: Software development and test system development with simulation models of physical assets. C++ and Python experience. TOP CANDIDATES WILL ALSO HAVE: Experience with Linux / FMU file format.
Soft Skills
Strong team player, good communication skills. Ability to work in a high paced / agile environment. Self-Starter.
