We're looking for an Embedded Systems Engineer to support the development of controls for automotive electromechanical devices. You will be responsible for the development of requirements, systems architecture, and coordination with lead engineers in multiple disciplines (SW, HW, Mechanical, etc.).

Responsibilities of the Embedded Systems Engineer – Automotive Tech:
- Derive and detail requirements for system development from the customer requirements including ensuring of the bi-directional traceability
- Be innovative in bringing value to embedded systems by identifying re-usable system requirements and related architectural components while eliminating redundancy
- Ensure adherence to system engineering process models e.g. Automotive SPICE
- Coordinate with system leaders to ensure compliance with safety standards of ISO26262 and cyber security requirements
- Support DFMEA and peer reviews.
- Guide the system development team with respect to requirements engineering
- Actively contribute to the development, implementation, and improvement of development and requirements engineering processes and methods
- Actively interact with other engineers to assure operative exchange on business-relevant activities
- Contribute to the collection and delivery of system development-related project metrics and activities to key stakeholders
Qualifications
- BS in a relevant field (EE, CE, CS, etc.) with 5+ years of experience in systems engineering for automotive technology.
- Strong background in requirements development/management for embedded development projects.
- Background in UML or SysML related to systems architecture.
- Knowledge in Automotive SPICE
- Knowledge in the area of functional safety (ISO26262) is desirable
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
