The candidate will be responsible for product planning, delivery and marketing throughout the product lifecycle. You will develop a vision and roadmap for the product based on input from internal stakeholders, customers, market research and their own industry insight. The Product Manager will work closely with Development/Engineering and other cross-functional teams

to deliver products that aligns with product owner’s vision, meet market needs. You will break down complex problems into small, technically understandable themes that drive product development and make sure it is delivered to a consistently high-quality standard.

You will develop a forecast for the product based on input from marketing, sales, market analysts and their own experience and manage its delivery.

You will be responsible for identifying key benefits and value of products that will be used to create and maintain marketing plans and collateral (including web updates, product training materials and sales training)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution
  • Develop and manage project plans for product development and solutions
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop operational strategies, define goals with direct responsibility for coordinating the execution of initiatives, processes, and training.
  • Partner extensively with engineering teams, UI/UX designers, data analysts, other product owners, architects and any other cross-functional team involved, to deliver product roadmap and drive feature implementation.
  • Translate product vision and roadmap into well-defined product requirements/user stories and user acceptance test criteria
  • Expectation management of various stakeholders/client groups.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create go-to-market strategies that include marketing tactics to create brand and product awareness in the market.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our product(s), including its features and functionality to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a keen attention to detail, multitask and work well under pressure
  • Team player who collaborates well with others.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, MIS or related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • 6-8+ years overall experience in Product Management
  • Experience working in a cross-functional environment.
  • Must have experience in Agile-Scrum and Agile-Kanban development methodologies.
  • Understanding of the K-12 environment and education technology domain is highly preferred.
  • ITIL certification and experience are preferred.

  • Proficient in M.S. Office, Google Applications, modern business tools, communication tools, mobile tools, and presentation tools for virtual teams (i.e., Google Chat, Meet, and Zoom).
