ProcessTechnician - Advanced Packaging

PURPOSE: To support technical capabilities and production capacity for new customer account in the Advance Packaging area.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES / DUTIES:
- Perform die attach, wire bonding, operations per work instruction and process specification.
- Perform the die bonder program, and/or wire bonder program per product requirements.
- Capable to operate and basic troubleshooting above processes.
- Carry out visual inspection of the assemblies using microscope and measurement machine.
- Support box build, fiber splicing and optical alignment edge coupling for the assembly operations.
- Follow cleanroom protocols, ESD handling procedure and work instructions.
- Maintain accurate production records, travelers, and quality documentation.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: (include experience required with specific software applications, equipment, or specific certifications and education requirements such as MSME, MSEE, APICS, etc)
PREFERRED Qualifications (nice to have skills):
- Minimum 2–5 years hands-on experience in one or more of: wire bonding, die attach, optical alignment/edge coupling, fiber splicing, die polishing, or electro-optical box build.
- Experience in operation and programming with following equipments: Besi DataCon, ASM wire bonder, F&K Delvotec, Finetech Femto2, edge coupling alignment machine, handling and splicing equipment (e.g., Fujikura, Fitel splicers) and fiber optic related measurements
- Experience working in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with microscopes, inspection tools, and precision hand tools
- Familiarity with IPC workmanship standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001 preferred)
Education or Training: - College or equivalent required
- Associate's degree or technical certification in electronics, optics, or manufacturing technology preferred
- On-the-job training or vocational training in microelectronics assembly, fiber optics, or photonic packaging acceptable
