ChangingGears seeks a skilled Automotive Technician to join their team.

ChangingGears is a shop with a mission - a mission that changes lives, changes families, and changes communities. We’re excited to find teammates who are passionate about our mission, willing to work hard, and ready to celebrate when we win (and fail if it gets us closer to our next win). We receive donated vehicles and use those donations to provide affordable transportation to our clients, who are working towards prosperity. We have a new garage, a thriving team, and plenty of work to do.

Automotive Technicians can expect:

• Small shop environment

• Monday through Friday work week! NO WEEKENDS!!

• Heated and ventilated shop.

• Training. Yes! We want our team to continuously develop and grow their skills. We have two full time Master ASE Technicians on staff to work alongside and learn with. We also compensate our employees for annual training and development certifications. We pay for ASE Testing (under the condition that you pass) and aftermarket offsite training (NAPA/O'Rielly/CarGurus). We have an annual budget set aside for each Technician's development.

• Opportunities. We have been growing and continue to grow! Our hope is for our team members to stay on staff for many years and take promotions as they come available.

Successful Automotive Technicians will have:

• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to pass a background check.

• Tools commensurate with experience.
