Responsibilities:
They work on a majority of imported vehicles, but specialize in European models. Because of this they work on a wide variety of repairs. Repairs for this position include, but are not limited to:
Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning in a timely manner
Communication with Parts Specialist and Service Advisors
Road test vehicles when required -Perform quality inspections of vehicle repairs prior to returning the vehicle to the customer, as well as ensuring customers vehicle is kept clean
Ensure that required documentation is completed and accurate
Reports machine defects and malfunctions
Maintain up-to-date knowledge about our industry
Ensure that workspace is kept clean and equipment and tools are kept in good condition and stored properly
Qualifications:
Successful candidates for the automotive technician position will have:
3+ years experience as an automotive technician
ASE/Manufacturer Certifications (Preferred)
Diagnostic ability -Troubleshooting skills
Commitment to quality
Basic computer skills
Team player -Good communicator
Personal set of tools
Valid/Clean driver’s license
