This role offers the opportunity to support our General Counsel with documentation management, preparation of contracts, investment guidelines, process ownership, entity information and reporting, and internal & external communication. We are looking for a well-rounded candidate with a proactive mindset, an aptitude for managing complex processes, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate is accountable for meeting deadlines, identifies and mitigates legal, regulatory, or process-related risks, and effectively manages competing priorities.

As a legal assistant, you will have the opportunity to expand your skill set and take on new responsibilities, working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with a company that is growing. These responsibilities include:

Organize and manage documentation related to investments, fund compliance, and related process documentation.

  • Assist our General Counsel with legal documentation data collection from internal and external stakeholders

  • Draft and edit legal documentation

  • Support reporting requests from various departments across the firm

Build and maintain processes.

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of our legal processes and reporting

  • Maintain legal invoice tracking, insurance tracking, and NDA processes, as well as selected fund level and legal entity documentation and reporting
