Food Scientist

This position is for a Food Scientist working for a long-standing company in Central California that provides quality and excellence in Foodservice, Ingredients, and International products in the food and beverage manufacturing industry.

Overview of Position

This is a senior level product development position that will be leading and executing projects that support the R&D team. Some of the projects include: raw materials, formulation and process optimization, innovation and profit target achievement.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 4-7 years of Food Science experience or Master's Degree with 3-5 years' Food Science experience

Need experience in data analytics and raw material optimization

Denote soft skills including conflict resolution

Verify success in creative problem solving and technical reasoning

Potent written and verbal technical communications with internal and external customers

Innovative professional, with an entrepreneurial spirit and a solution driven focus

Proficient in basic computer software: Microsoft office

Sweet sauces, confections, and fruit preparation experience is a bonus.
