Our client is a private equity-owned global design, engineering, and manufacturing company selling product solutions to the appliance, automotive, and HVAC industries. We are an industry leader in advanced flow control components and systems for water, gas, and other fluids to help build extraordinary products that improve safety, comfort, health, and happiness.

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will be responsible for financial analysis support of the aftermarket business segment and global commercial team. Role will also contribute to monthly management reporting, prepare ad hoc analysis, and participate in projects as needed.


Specific job duties include:


  • Work with segment sales leaders and plant controllers as appropriate to consolidate and analyze revenue and EBITDA bridges
  • Lead and facilitate cross functional meetings
  • Serve as primary/initial point of contact with sales leaders on financial matters and related questions
  • Leverage statistical and operational data to draw correlation between periodic operational and financial results, providing greater insight and decision-making abilities to senior management
  • Create and analyze monthly and weekly reporting, including inventory, past dues, cost savings and other operational metrics
  • Drive standard work automation and process improvements
  • Support monthly close process including but not limited to creation and maintenance of monthly accrual support for rebates & commissions
  • Maintain data integrity of company’s KPIs
  • Create financial models and complete financial analysis for decision support
  • Variance analysis, budget development and forecasting, and monthly management presentation preparation
  • Price maintenance upload and supervision of GSS team members during maintenance of administration of pricing
  • Maintenance and update of external party portals and supervision of GSS team members during activity
  • Help in addressing any ad hoc requests on routine basis
  • Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary.
  • 3 days in office

 

Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of manufacturing cost structure and variance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and adapt quickly to business and economic changes
  • Hyperion/Oracle EPM knowledge preferred



Experience, Skills, and Education


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • At least three years in finance in the manufacturing industry
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products, particularly Excel and Power Point
