Position Summary:

The Enrollment Advisor will interface with prospective students and decision makers to enroll and start students, communicating the philosophy and benefits of the school.The primary objective of the role is to help meet and exceed the school’s enrollment objectives in a professional manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for campus enrollment performance
  • Prospecting of lead inquiries
  • Follow up on potential students via phone, email, or fax after student has inquired about programs
  • Conduct interviews and tours and evaluate each prospective student based on his/her interests and qualifications
  • Present information to prospective students regarding programs and tuition as well as relevant policies and procedures
  • Assist in the enrollment process and finalizing details of starting school
  • Complete and maintain required reports and paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
  • Verify admissions criteria and complete admissions paperwork with students
  • Facilitate prospective student’s financial assistance process, interacting with Financial Aid function
  • Assist prospective students in completing the intake process in the most effective and supportive manner
  • Help in improving school’s admissions processes
  • Assist in the execution of short-term and long-term student recruitment strategy to ensure the university’s growth objectives.
  • Conduct all sales activities to meet enrollment goals
  • Have solid working relationships with other departments who will also assist the students
  • Represent school at various speaking/networking events (e.g., high schools)

  • Track record of strong performance in a sales and customer service role
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and follow-up skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Frequent computer and phone usage in a supportive manner
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the educational environment
  • Understanding of sales practices and marketing/promotional tools and techniques
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with a diverse student population in a dynamic industry
