General Description
Responsible for securing entry level employment positions for graduates of the schools program.
Essential Job Functions
-Secure entry level jobs for graduates in good standing.
-Continue an on-going database of all information with documentation including, but not limited to the following areas:
1. Student leads and placement assignments
2.Weekly contacts or attempted contacts with all unplaced graduates
3.Building rapport with all local and nation-wide hiring managers
4.Maintaining current job listing for student use
-Coach, counsel, and motivate students.Intervention when identified.
-Approve resumés, cover letters for students before the placement process begins.
-Continue follow-up communication with graduates once leads have been issued.
-Set up and maintain graduates appointments as needed.
-Speak to classes throughout the program to inform, motivate and enhance the placement process.
-Compile State and National placement records, to meet/exceed Accrediting Standards.
-File weekly update reports with National Director of Placement.
-Maintain regular communication with your Education/School Director, Education Department, National Director of Placement, Placement Coordinators and Management.
-Develop relationships with employers in areas not directly related to the industry, known as non-traditional placements.
-Ensure graduates are eligible for assistance before placement procedure begins.
Work Experience Requirements
At least 2-4 years of direct experience in the field or direct sales
Education Requirements
2 year college degree or equivalent experience.
