Job Title: Systems Administrator (Linux/Windows)
Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and resourceful Systems Administrator to help manage and support our Linux and Windows-based IT infrastructure. In this multifaceted role, you'll be a key contributor to maintaining high-performance computing (HPC) clusters, resolving complex software licensing issues, and delivering responsive technical support to both internal teams and external customers.
Primary Responsibilities:
HPC Cluster Administration & SupportProvide timely, reliable support for 50+ engineers using Linux-based HPC clusters
Maintain and optimize HPC systems using tools such as OpenPBS and Remote Solve Manager (RSM).
Assist in the maintenance and development of a custom job status web portal (built with Tomcat, PHP, CGI, and HTML).
Note: Prior experience with Ansys is not required—comprehensive training will be provided.
Provide high-quality technical assistance to internal staff via email, phone, and in person.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues within Windows and Microsoft 365 environments.

Required Qualifications:
4+ years of relevant IT systems administration experience or equivalent certifications
Proficient in Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu) administration, including hardware, software, and networking
Solid understanding of open-source software troubleshooting
Strong experience with Windows OS and Windows Server, including networking and hardware
Effective technical writing skills and documentation practices
Preferred Skills (Bonus Points):
Scripting experience (Bash, CGI, PHP, HTML)
Experience with Windows Remote Desktop Services
Familiarity with HPC clusters, OpenPBS or Slurm workload managers
Exposure to FlexLM license management, or HPC environments
Experience with InfiniBand or RoCE networking and Windows Active Directory integration
Relevant industry certifications
