Position Summary

We are seeking a driven, analytical, and team-oriented Associate 1 to join our Boston office. You will work alongside senior bankers on large-cap M&A transactions, primarily in the TMT and Healthcare IT verticals, supporting both sell-side and buy-side mandates.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in all facets of deal execution while building deep sector expertise in two of the most dynamic industries in today’s economy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, including industry research, financial modeling, valuation analysis, and preparation of client materials (CIMs, management presentations, board materials).

  • Conduct detailed financial due diligence and assist in coordinating third-party advisors (legal, accounting, technical).

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models, including DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, and public comps.

  • Interface directly with clients, investors, and senior executives; attend management meetings and deal calls.

  • Monitor industry trends and maintain market intelligence across TMT and Healthcare IT subsectors.

  • Assist in business development efforts including pitchbook preparation and prospecting support.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or consulting (M&A experience strongly preferred).

  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills; advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities; capable of building trust with clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills; able to manage multiple workstreams under tight deadlines.

  • Demonstrated interest or experience in the TMT or Healthcare IT sectors a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or CFA a plus, but not required.
