Our client is a global bulge bracket type bank looking to fill an experienced Associate role in the Healthcare Care IT Space
Financial Analysis and Modeling:
- Conduct financial analysis, including financial statement analysis, valuation modeling, and financial forecasting.
- Create and maintain financial models to assess the financial performance and valuation of healthcare companies.
- Perform industry research and analysis to identify trends, market opportunities, and potential risks in the healthcare sector.
Deal Execution and Transaction Support:
- Support senior bankers in the execution of healthcare transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions (M&A), initial public offerings (IPOs), debt and equity offerings, and other corporate finance transactions.
- Assist in the due diligence process, including conducting research, gathering and analyzing data, and preparing due diligence reports.
- Prepare transaction-related documents, including pitch books, information memoranda, offering memoranda, and other marketing materials.
Client Communication and Relationship Management:
- Interact with clients to gather necessary information, answer inquiries, and provide updates on transaction progress.
- Participate in client meetings and conference calls, assisting senior bankers in presenting analyses, recommendations, and transaction updates.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships by delivering high-quality work and demonstrating industry knowledge and expertise.
Market Research and Industry Knowledge:
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics within the healthcare sector.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities, industry benchmarks, and competitive landscape.
- Prepare research reports, industry updates, and presentations on healthcare-related topics for internal and external distribution.
Team Collaboration and Project Management:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, and other internal stakeholders, to ensure smooth deal execution and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in coordinating and managing project timelines, deliverables, and work streams to meet client deadlines.
- Work closely with junior team members, including Analysts and Interns, providing guidance and support on various aspects of transaction execution and analysis.
Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies throughout the transaction process.
- Identify and assess potential risks associated with transactions and propose risk mitigation strategies.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes in the healthcare sector and their potential impact on transactions and clients.
