Position Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President to join our Internet Investment Banking team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in executing M&A transactions, raising capital, and providing strategic advice to internet-based clients across various sectors, including e-commerce, technology, digital media, and software. You will leverage your industry expertise, financial acumen, and strategic insights to drive successful outcomes for our clients and contribute to the continued growth and success of our firm.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

  1. Lead and manage all aspects of M&A transactions, including deal origination, due diligence, financial modeling, valuation analysis, and transaction execution.

 

 

  1. Collaborate closely with senior bankers and clients to develop and execute financing strategies, including equity offerings, debt financings, and other capital-raising activities.

 

 

  1. Conduct in-depth industry and company research to identify trends, competitive dynamics, and strategic opportunities within the internet sector.

 

 

  1. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, pitch materials, and marketing materials for client meetings, roadshows, and investor conferences.

 

 

  1. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, investors, and other key stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.

 

 

  1. Mentor and supervise junior team members, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

 

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

 

 

  1. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on M&A advisory and capital markets transactions within the internet sector.

 

 

  1. Proven track record of executing complex M&A transactions and capital-raising initiatives from inception to completion.

 

 

  1. Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in valuation techniques, including discounted cash flow analysis, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions.

 

 

  1. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts and strategies in a clear and concise manner.

 

 

  1. Exceptional analytical abilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

 

 

  1. Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience in effectively managing teams and fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

 

 

  1. Series 79 and 63 securities licenses required, or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.
