Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate to join our M&A team, focusing on sell-side transactions in the technology and information services industries. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully closing M&A deals, demonstrating a deep understanding of market dynamics, valuation, and transaction structuring in these sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deal Execution: Lead and support the execution of sell-side M&A transactions, including preparing pitch materials, managing due diligence processes, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial modeling, valuation analysis, and scenario planning to support deal negotiations and decision-making.
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing strategic advice throughout the M&A process.
- Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research and industry analysis to identify potential buyers, assess market trends, and evaluate strategic fit.
- Transaction Structuring: Assist in structuring deals, including negotiation of terms and conditions, drafting of transaction documents, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior team members and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless transaction execution and post-deal integration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, or corporate finance, with a focus on technology and information services sectors.
- Proven track record of closing sell-side M&A deals, with strong deal execution and project management skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and transaction structuring.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Strong client relationship management skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
