Job Description: Associate – Enterprise Software Investment Banking
Location: San Francisco

Role Overview:
The Associate in Enterprise Software Investment Banking will support transaction execution and contribute to business development efforts for clients in the enterprise software space. This role involves developing financial models, conducting market research, and preparing client materials while working closely with senior team members to deliver exceptional advisory services.
Key Responsibilities:
Transaction Execution:
- Prepare and analyze financial models, including DCF, precedent transactions, and trading comparables.
- Assist in the execution of M&A, equity, and debt transactions, including due diligence and deal structuring.
- Develop offering memoranda, management presentations, and pitch books for clients.
Market & Industry Research:
- Conduct in-depth research on the enterprise software sector, including SaaS, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
- Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and financial data to identify opportunities for clients.
- Provide strategic insights to senior team members and clients.
Client Support:
- Participate in client meetings, contributing to discussions with data-driven insights.
- Support senior bankers in delivering tailored solutions to meet client objectives.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations for client pitches and strategic reviews.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with Analysts, Vice Presidents, and senior bankers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with product specialists and other sector teams to address client needs comprehensively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or consulting, with exposure to enterprise software or technology.
- Strong technical skills, including financial modeling, valuation, and presentation development.
- High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Series 79 and 63 licenses (or willingness to obtain them).
