Job Description:

Elite Bank is seeking a talented and driven individual to join our Technology Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team as an Associate. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in executing complex transactions within the dynamic technology sector. Leveraging your financial acumen, strategic thinking, and industry knowledge, you will collaborate with senior team members to deliver exceptional advisory services to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Transaction Execution: Assist in all aspects of the M&A process, including financial analysis, due diligence, valuation modeling, deal structuring, and documentation.

  2. Industry Research: Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on technology sectors and potential target companies to identify strategic opportunities and market trends.

  3. Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support valuation and scenario analysis for potential transactions.

  4. Client Engagement: Engage directly with clients to understand their objectives, provide strategic insights, and support the development of tailored solutions.

  5. Due Diligence: Coordinate due diligence efforts, including management of data rooms, liaising with legal and accounting teams, and evaluating potential risks and opportunities.

  6. Presentation Preparation: Assist in the preparation of client presentations, pitch materials, and investment memoranda to effectively communicate transaction rationale and recommendations.

  7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Investment Banking, Legal, Risk Management, and Compliance, to ensure seamless execution of transactions and adherence to regulatory requirements.

  8. Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry professionals, and internal stakeholders to support business development efforts and enhance the firm's reputation in the market.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, or corporate development, with a focus on the technology sector.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and senior executives.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality work and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Series 79 and 63 licenses preferred, or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to M&A transactions.
