Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Digital Infrastructure to lead our digital transformation efforts and drive the development and maintenance of our digital infrastructure. As the Vice President, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the bank's digital strategy, ensuring robust and secure digital platforms, and fostering innovation to enhance our customers' banking experience.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the digital infrastructure strategy in alignment with the bank's overall business objectives.
Lead a team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the bank's digital platforms, including online banking, mobile applications, and other digital channels.
Oversee the architecture, scalability, and security of digital infrastructure systems to ensure reliability, performance, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT, operations, risk management, and business units, to identify digital infrastructure needs and opportunities for improvement.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and maintain the bank's competitive edge in the digital space.
Manage vendor relationships and partnerships related to digital infrastructure, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and vendor risk management.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of digital infrastructure initiatives, and drive continuous improvement.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience (X+ years) in a leadership role overseeing digital infrastructure, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
Deep understanding of digital banking platforms, infrastructure technologies, and industry best practices.
Strong technical skills in areas such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, networking, and database management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strategic thinker with a track record of driving digital transformation initiatives and delivering results.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
