Our client is a Bulge Bracket Bank in NYC. They are looking for a Managing Director to cover IT Services.

  1. Business Development and Relationship Management:

    • Lead business development efforts and establish relationships with key clients in the IT services sector, including technology companies, outsourcing firms, and IT consulting companies.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), IPOs, debt and equity offerings, and other financial transactions.
    • Develop a deep understanding of clients' strategic objectives, industry dynamics, and market trends to provide tailored financial advice and solutions.
    • Maintain and strengthen existing client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring client satisfaction.
  2. Deal Origination and Execution:

    • Originate and structure complex transactions, working closely with clients and internal deal teams.
    • Oversee the execution of deals, including conducting financial analysis, due diligence, valuation, and deal negotiations.
    • Ensure the delivery of high-quality marketing materials, such as pitch books, information memoranda, and financial models.
    • Coordinate with various internal teams, including legal, compliance, and other stakeholders, to successfully execute transactions.
  3. Team Leadership and Management:

    • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of professionals, including Vice Presidents, Associates, and Analysts.
    • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering their growth and professional development.
    • Promote a collaborative and high-performance team culture, encouraging knowledge sharing and teamwork.
    • Allocate resources effectively to ensure efficient project execution and client service.
  4. Market Research and Industry Knowledge:

    • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies within the IT services sector.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities and provide strategic insights to clients.
    • Prepare and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders on industry trends, market updates, and investment recommendations.
  5. Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management:

    • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
    • Identify and manage potential risks associated with transactions and client relationships.
    • Stay updated on regulatory changes and proactively implement necessary measures to mitigate risk.
  6. Thought Leadership and Thoughtful Client Engagement:

    • Establish yourself as a thought leader in the IT services sector by publishing research reports, white papers, and delivering presentations at industry conferences.
