Job Description:

We seek a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate to join our team and focus on tech enabled services. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile transactions within a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment at a leading boutique investment bank in New York City.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in executing M&A transactions, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of the tech-enabled services sector. As a Senior Associate, you will play a critical role in transaction execution, client management, and deal origination efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transaction Execution:

    • Lead all aspects of M&A deal processes, including financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, structuring, and negotiations.
    • Prepare and oversee the development of client presentations, financial models, information memoranda, and management presentations.
    • Manage project timelines, ensuring seamless coordination across teams and stakeholders.
  • Client Interaction:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the deal lifecycle.
    • Communicate effectively with C-suite executives, private equity investors, and other stakeholders.
  • Sector Expertise:

    • Stay updated on trends and developments within the tech-enabled services space, identifying key drivers and market dynamics.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to clients based on industry knowledge and transaction experience.
  • Team Leadership:

    • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering professional development and collaboration.
    • Work closely with senior bankers to support business development and origination initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience:

    • 3-6 years of investment banking experience, focusing on M&A.
    • Prior experience in the tech-enabled services sector or adjacent industries is highly preferred.
  • Skills:

    • Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
    • Proficiency in transaction structuring and negotiation.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
